Keep your ideas stored on ‘Google Keep’ app

‘Google Keep’ can be downloaded on the devices running on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and above.

Google has launched an app (application) that saves you from the bother of searching for a notebook and a pencil to jot down that great idea, which has just flashed in your mind.

You can quickly record the idea. You can store or delete it or can access through your Google Drive account (the cloud storage facility in Gmail).

What’s more, if it’s more convenient to speak than to type that’s also fine. “Keep App transcribes voice memos for you automatically,” Google says.

Available on Google Play, the Android app marketplace, the ‘Google Keep’ can be downloaded on the devices running on Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich and above. “You can access, edit and create new notes on the web at http://drive.google.com/keep. In the coming weeks you'll be able to do the same directly from Google Drive,” Google explained.

“With Keep you can quickly jot ideas down when you think of them and even include checklists and photos to keep track of what’s important to you. Your notes are safely stored in Google Drive and synced to all your devices so you can always have them at hand,” it said in a statement.
