Kris Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys, has launched itihaasa, an app chronicling the history of Indian IT from 1950 onwards.
The app has around 600 videos featuring technology leaders such as Narayana Murthy, Azim Premji, S Ramadorai, Nandan Nilekani and F. C. Kohli, amongst others, from the first installation of a computer to the future of this industry.
This app was conceptualised by Gopalakrishnan and showcases the milestones in each decade and how India embarked on the software and hardware journey.
"The many facets of Indian IT and its journey comes alive in the app," said Ashok Soota, Executive Chairman, Happiest Minds.
It can be downloaded freely on the iOS and Android platforms.
