Professional networking firm LinkedIn is working on allowing payments in Indian currency. At present, the firm allows only credit card payment for giving premium memberships and for selling ad space.
“We are working on it. We are evaluating various options," Diman Mukherji, Director of LinkedIn India, said.
"We crossed the 1.7-crore membership mark in India last month. We achieved this in just three years of arriving here,” he said while addressing the two-day digital summit being held at the Indian School of Business.
