Mahindra Satyam has signed an agreement with Intertek, a US-based testing, inspection and certification services, to work smart grid-focused testing and engineering activities.
The two would jointly improve advisory, inspection and certification services, strengthening Mahindra Satyam's offerings to smart grid clients, according to Mr Karthikeyan Natarajan, Senior Vice-President and Global Head (Integrated Engineering Solutions) of Mahindra Satyam.
Mahindra Satyam will integrate with London Stock Exchange listed firm's satellite programme to conform to current smart grid industry standards and regulations. “We will serve as Intertek's partner for testing various industry standards in the smart grid business vertical,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mr Vineet Nayyar, Chairman, and Mr C.P. Gurnani, Chief Executive Officer of Mahindra Satyam, will go to Davos to take part in the annual World Economic Forum scheduled for January 25-29.
