Mangalore tech service provider gets ISO tag

The Mangalore-based Diya Systems Pvt Ltd, an information technology (IT) service provider, has received ISO 9001:2008 quality management system certification.

Addressing presspersons here on Monday, Divakara Alva, Project Director of Diya Systems, said that the ‘Registration Audit’ of the company was performed by ‘GMSQR Certification Pvt Ltd’. The certification is effective from July 10 2013 to July 10 2016, he said.

The ISO certification helps Diya Systems to ensure that the company meets the needs of customers by regulating management processes, he said, adding that the ISO standards are based on eight management principles that an organization must master in order to earn the certification.

The IT & ITeS company has around 1,100 employees. Apart from some international clients in the US, the company also serves the domestic market. The mobile applications developed by the company are used by some public sector banks, Alva added.
