Megasoft has posted lower revenue and a loss in the second quarter ended June 30, 2015. The company’s revenue dipped to Rs 14.15 crore in the quarter as against Rs 20.79 crore in the comparable quarter of the previous year. It posted a loss of Rs 1.43 crore as against a profit of Rs 32 lakh during the period.
“While this transition from being a pre-paid platform company to one that caters to total infrastructure and mobile payments segments is resulting in short-term revenue declines and a difficult transition, in the medium and long term, the company is poised to grow well profitably,” Megasoft Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer G V Kumar, said in a statement on Wednesday.
