Megasoft Ltd, which provides IT products to telecom industry, has reported lower revenues of Rs 25.5 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2013, against Rs 29.25 crore in the same period last year.

The company’s net profit for the quarter, however, has seen a marginal increase at Rs 1.41 crore (Rs 1.25 crore).

“In spite of this and uncertain economic environment in its key market (US) and decline in core prepaid revenues, the company managed to improve its EBIDTA margins, stay operationally cash and profit positive,” G.V. Kumar, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Megasoft Ltd, said here in a statement.

The company’s expenditure came down to Rs 21.50 crore from Rs 27 crore during the quarter. In the first six months ended June 30, 2013, the company reported a turnover of Rs 52 crore (Rs 59 crore).
