MindTree, the IT and product engineering services company, will more than double its hiring of fresh graduates.
The company, which opened a 43,250-sq ft facility in Hyderabad, on Thursday, said that it would hire 4,000 freshers this year as against 1,800 last year.
The company employs about 11,000 people registered revenues of $330 million in the financial year 2011.
According to Mr Subroto Bagchi, Vice-Chairman of MindTree, said the company was setting up another facility in Bhubaneswar. It would be the company's fifth centre after Pune, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad.
The new facility in Hyderabad would act as a global centre of excellence for cloud computing.
The 13-year-old company has 24 offices across the globe. A leading provider of technology for aviation industry, MindTree's applications were being used by a third of airlines in the world, ensuring safety of 10 crore passengers.
