Mobile wallet major MobiKwik today said it has joined hands with Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio to sell mobile phones on its application.
With this, the company becomes the first wallet to sell Jio phone on its platform, MobiKwik said in a statement.
MobiKwik Business Head Bikram Bir Singh said: “We are proud to become the first mobile wallet to sell Jio phones in India. Users can book their phone in four easy steps and avail great benefits as well.”
On successful payment, users will receive a confirmation SMS from Jio with transaction details and another SMS with store details from where they can collect the phone after identity verification.
