Dual-SIM smartphones, now ubiquitous, could seem like old hat now that Acer has come out with its quadband UMTS smartphone, the Liquid E700 Trio, which can support three SIM cards.
One centimetre thick and 155 grams heavy, the Android Version—4.4 phone with a quadcore processor packs a battery that gives off 3,500 milliamperes per hour to support its three-tier load. All of this is hidden behind a five-inch display.
Other features include 16 gigabytes of memory, which can be expanded with an SD card, and a main camera that takes shots with 8 megapixels. Available in red or black, the mobile is available for 199 euros (264 dollars).
