Samsung on Tuesday launched the Galaxy A8, its latest premium offering in the smartphone segment. This is the 16th device launched by the company since January this year.
According to Asim Warsi, V-P Marketing, IT & Mobile, Samsung India, this is the "slimmest Galaxy phone" so far.
The handset comes in three colours - black, gold and white - and is priced at Rs 32,500.
The device, which is 4G enabled, has a 5.7 inch screen, an inbuilt memory of 32 GB and and a 2GB RAM.
The phone has a 16 mega pixel main camera and a 5 mega pixel front camera. "The primary camera (rear) comes equipped with the feature of a face detection alarm for clicking the perfect selfies," Warsi said.
