Job portal Monster.com today launched a professional networking application for Facebook users. The new application ‘BeKnown’ is available in 19 languages and can be accessed by any Facebook user, Monster.com said in a statement.
With this application, Facebook users can invite contacts from other social networks and see, among their professional contacts on ‘BeKnown’, who is connected to a company or a job opportunity they are interested in.
For companies, the application would also activate recruiter and employee networks as referral sources, the statement said.
