Moschip Semiconductor Technology has posted a loss of Rs 3.78 crore in the second quarter ended September 30, 2012, against a profit of Rs 2.7 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Total income fell to Rs 55 lakh during the quarter against Rs 7.95 crore in the same quarter last year.
The company said that the revenues in the comparable quarters and first half could not be compared.
Results in the second quarter and first half of last year included revenues from the sale of a product division, K. Ramachandra Reddy, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Moschip, informed the Bombay Stock Exchange on Thursday.
The earnings per share turned (not annualised) negative at minus 82 paise.
