Optical storage manufacturer Moser Baer India on Friday, reported a net loss of Rs 131 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 6.30 crore in the same period last year, Moser Baer India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Net sales declined to Rs 458.95 crore during the January-March quarter from Rs 582.64 crore in the same year-ago period.
For the full year ended March 31, the company saw its net loss widen to Rs 406 crore, as against a net loss of Rs 36.26 crore in the previous year. Shares of Moser Baer India were trading at Rs 42.40 on the BSE, up 1.07 per cent from the previous close.
