Microsoft Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella will address a conference on Future Decoded in Mumbai on February 22. Though he visited India on a few occasions after taking Microsoft reins, his visit assumes significance after fresh efforts in the US to restrict H-1B visas.
Satya was among the few top heads of IT firms that opposed restrictive immigration moves by the new regime in the US under President Donald Trump. The two-day Mumbai conference is expected to be attended by 1,500 top business and government executives. They will discuss how technology will transform all aspects of work and life.
“The meet explores how digital technology is empowering people and organisations across governments, education, banks, hospitals, e-commerce, entertainment and manufacturing organisation,” a company executive said.
Anil Rai Gupta, CMD of Havells, Günter Butschek, CEO of Tata Motors, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will also address the conference.
