The US-based NetObjex Inc has acquired Serventire Global, a blockchain solutions provider company, based at Technopark.

NetObjex, operating out of California, is a leading purveyor of artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain and Internet-of-Things (IoT) and has operations in North America. The company has offices in India and South-East Asia, apart from partners and representatives in West Asia and Latin America, a spokesman said.

Serventire Global boasts a trade finance product and a real-time payment solution in the fintech space along with expertise in blockchain protocol development with a customer base across four continents.

Complementary skills

Raghu Bala, Chief Executive Officer, NetObjex , said that the acquisition represents coming together of two companies with complementary skills, technologies and culture.

"We believe we are not only broadening our product offerings, but also now possess the depth and breadth of skills and personnel to engage and assist clients globally.”

Georgey Jacob, Chief Executive Officer, Serventire Global, said that the acquisition provides a platform to accomplish bigger goals with a broader reach. "The market for distributed ledger technology is growing rapidly and we believe the combined entity would become a formidable global player”.

Multiple verticals

NetObjex will now be able to offer blockchain-based offerings in multiple verticals, including R&D, enterprise grade solutions and middleware development. Its experience will also open up a wide variety of distributed ledger technologies with industrial domain expertise, especially focusing on fintech, supply chain, transportation and smart cities.

Its leading edge platforms leverage IoT for data acquisition and and actuation. According to Bala, it has a strong product offering that ties three key technologies - IoT, AI and blockchain.

NetObjex also has a broad set of customer implementation of the platform across multiple domains and geographies. "The next phase of our evolution would be to expand on this base," he said.
