IT solutions company NIIT Technologies today said it won a contract to implement a cargo handling system at Sao Paolo International Airport in Brazil.
The Noida-based company will establish a single-platform system that will cater to all performance and operational needs of the cargo terminal at the largest international airport in Latin America, NIIT Technologies said in a release.
It includes core processes such as import, export, national/domestic cargo and abandoned cargo, NIIT Technologies said without revealing the financial details of the deal.
A Web-enabled interface will connect and streamline external customer service-based processes and agents. The fully integrated software platform will allow improved efficiencies, increased monitoring and greater control over ground handling operations, it said.
The Sao Paolo airport was used by 32.8 million passengers in 2012.
