Infosys Non-Executive Chairman K.V. Kamath today said there is no need for a change in the top-level management.

According to agency reports, Kamath said the Board is aligned with the Infosys leadership team and placed his confidence in the company whose growth is facing a slowdown in FY13. Infosys has articulated the 3.0 strategy that will help it in the long term, he added.

Kamath added that Infosys has undergone all the challenges faced by the IT industry and has come out shining.

Infosys’ 3.0 strategy, put in place last year, envisions the company getting more from products and consulting services.

Its CEO S. D. Shibulal recently said the objective is to ensure that in the next 5-7 years, revenues would come equally from innovation projects, business transformation projects and operational efficiency projects.

In the first quarter of FY13, Infosys revised its revenue guidance downwards to 5 per cent. This prompted analysts and investors to seek a change in top management, as its peers have been growing at Nasscom’s growth estimates for the current fiscal. Recently, Cognizant overtook Infosys in revenue terms.
