Nokia Nearby, the location-based Web application, will now feature listings from Getit Infoservices, which is a digital platform for local search, classifieds, micro communities and deals.
The collaboration will enable consumers to access more business listings on Nokia Nearby, which is available to users of Nokia Xpress Browser on their Nokia Asha smartphones, the company said.
“Users will enjoy an enhanced experience that enables them to search, discover and share even more places with accuracy and richness of content,” Viral Oza, Director - marketing, Nokia India, said.
The inclusion of listings on the Nokia Nearby Web app can create exposure for small-to-medium size enterprises through location-relevant listings appearing alongside organic search results, Jaspreet Bindra, Chief Executive Officer, Getit Infoservices, said.
