Strengthening its dual-SIM portfolio, the mobile handset market leader Nokia today launched three new ‘touch and type' models – C2-02, C2-03 and C2-06. It has also introduced a single SIM variant of the phone, Nokia C2-02.
Targeted at the youth segment, these phones are priced in the range of Rs 4,300-Rs 5,400.
Elaborating on their features, Mr T.S. Sridhar, Regional Director (South), Nokia India, said these phones offer Internet, maps and applications experience. The C2-03 phone include features that allow the user to personalise up to five SIM cards and an easy swap option that lets users change SIM cards in seconds without having to turn off the phone or remove the battery.
Besides, these models have over a dozen pre-installed applications such as Yatra Travel, Bookmyshow, eBay, Quikr, ngPay, Sulekha, ESPN Cricket, News Hunt, Bharat Matrimony and GaneshaSpeaks.
According to Mr Sridhar, these phones are manufactured at the company's facility in Chennai for the global market. “We are also planning to launch a few more dual-SIM models in the months to come in quick succession,” he said.
