Nokia launches new phones in Asha series

Nokia India has launch two unique products to its already popular Nokia Asha family, Nokia Asha 305 and Nokia Asha 311, in keeping with its strategy of connecting the next billion to the internet.

The Asha family of phones with the cloud accelerated Nokia browser is optimised for faster and cheaper browsing experience, apps, games and social networking offering smartphone experience to consumers at newer price points.

Nokia Asha 305 is priced at Rs 5,029 while Nokia Asha 311 is priced at Rs 7,139.

Viral Oza, Director Marketing, Nokia India, said: “With a variety of form factors across price points and innovations, Nokia Asha family has triggered data consumption habits in first time data users. With this launch, we are strengthening our range of mobile internet devices that offer these exciting experiences to consumers.’’

The latest Nokia Asha devices were launched by India’s ace racer Karun Chandhok. “Being a gaming enthusiast, I was impressed by the EA Games package on these devices,’’ said Chandhok.
