Nokia India on Friday announced that its two new Lumia devices, the large screen (6-inch) Nokia Lumia 1320 and the Nokia Lumia 525 - a variant of Lumia 520 will start selling in the country in the first half of January.
The company entered the 6-inch screen devices (also known as phablets) market with the launch of the Nokia Lumia 1520, priced at Rs 46,499 early this week.
While the company has not announced the prices of the new devices, it said the Lumia 1320 would be priced around half the price of Lumia 1520.
“With the Nokia Lumia 1320, our second large screen smart device, we’re delivering industry leading design and imaging innovation to bigger devices at more accessible prices. At the same time, with a device such as the Nokia Lumia 535, we continue to deliver on our promise of taking uncompromised Lumia experiences to more and more people,” P. Balaji, Managing Director, Nokia India. said here.
With the launch of the two new devices in January, the company is confident that more and more people will switch to Lumia, he said.
