Are you one of those tired of keying in long messages in WhatsApp and praying for a Web interface? Your prayers answered. The phone-number based social networking site WhatsApp has just opened a window on your Web browser.

There will be a seamless integration between your phone account and its extension on the Web browser. You can quickly switch back and forth on your phone and on the browser interface and still can keep your conversations current.

“Our Web client is simply an extension of your phone. The Web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device. This means all of your messages are still live on your phone,” the networking site, bought by Facebook, has said in a blog.

Look for a QR code at https://web.whatsapp.com in Google Chrome browser and scan it inside of WhatsApp to pair the phone with Web client.

You, however, will have to keep the phone connected with the Internet. This facility, however, is not available for Apple users due to the latter’s platform restrictions, the company said.
