Tata Consultancy Services now renders IT and back-office services to over 1,000 clients.
As on September 30, 2011, the company now has 1,010 active clients.
During the quarter gone by, the company added 35 new clients and closed 10 large deals.
Four of these deals came from the European geography, despite the looming credit crisis in the region, said Mr N. Chandrasekaran, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director.
UK grew by 10.2 per cent while Europe increased by 12 per cent for the company last quarter.
“Fundamentally, our presence in Europe is not very large and we are winning new deals and hence my prognosis is that we should grow going forward,” he added.
The company is now chasing another 10 large deals, half of which are up for grabs in the US.
