What can reduce the IT spend for start-ups and small enterprises is a latest business management system software — Business Integration System (BIS) developed by Ahmedabad-based Krazy Mantra Infotech Pvt. Ltd.

The ‘pay-as-you-use’ format software will provide IT solutions for key functions of a business enterprise ranging from accounting, attendance, payrolls, sales data management or assets management, everything with a UserID and password.

“Our aim is to reduce IT cost for the enterprises. The company can be as small as two users to as many as 10,000 users. As and when they require the service, they will be charged based on that,” said Vikram Pratap Singh, Chairman, Krazy Mantra. The cost to user will be as low as ₹100-125 per user per month. A unique QR Code is provided for each user at the enterprise.

For trial, 9,000 IDs have been issued to users in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. “We will launch the software by early 2016. And aim to achieve about 2.5 lakh users post launch,” said Singh.

The 125-people company has seven servers for database with all security certificates. Singh further maintained that the company is also developing a Campus Management System (CMS) — integrated with BIS to manage marksheets, attendance, schedules at institutes. “With this, any student can access his marksheet anytime from anywhere. To begin with, we will approach municipal schools in Ahmedabad,” he said.

Developed by an NRI from Mauritius - Sunil Kayala, BIS provides an alternative to the existing costly licensed enterprise resource planning software for office or business management. It reduces investment for IT infrastructure, provides superior control with multi-user configuration and enhances resource utilisation, productivity and performance, said Kayala.
