Nucleus Software Exports Ltd has posted an 89.7 per cent rise in net profit of Rs 23.39 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The BSE-listed software products and solutions provider had posted a net profit of Rs 12.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The company’s third quarter revenues grew 20.54 per cent to Rs 89.96 crore, while revenues for the first nine months of the financial year rose 17.34 per cent to Rs 258.54 crore.

“Additionally, with the objective of building capabilities for the future, we have been investing in new talent and nurturing the existing talent pool. Our focus on our people has been to ensure quality and achieve perfection, while delivering world-class products to our customers,” Nucleus Software Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Vishnu R. Dusad said.

In the current fiscal, the company hired more than 200 campus graduates and over 190 experienced professionals. In the third quarter, it hired a mix of over 100 campus graduate and experienced professionals.
