Serendipity Infolabs, which runs the online taxi booking site TaxiForSure.com, has raised venture capital funding from Accel Partners, Helion Venture Partners and Blume Ventures.
“According to a strategic agreement, we are not disclosing the financial details of the deal. The funds will be invested in technology, marketing and to hire more people,” said Mr Apremya Radhakrishna, Co-founder, TaxiForSure.com. This is their first formal funding.
“In the next three months we will expand to Delhi and Mumbai,” he said. The online aggregator of taxis is currently present in Bangalore.
TaxiForSure.com, the brainchild of IIM Ahmedabad graduates — Mr Raghunandan G and Mr Aprameya Radhakrishna — began operations in June 2011.
