Opera Software has launched Opera Mini 7, a browser targeted at Android users.
The company, whose Opera Mini browser has about 16 crore users, says the new version for Android would help save costs for mobile phone users. It would make browsing faster and panning around sites smoother.
No more messing around with fiddly mobile keyboards or bookmarks. Opera Mini 7 compresses and squeezes web pages from the network into your phone.
"Up to 90 per cent of the original data gets cut out, so not only do you use less data, but you also get where you want to go on the Web even faster. You'll also save time on slow networks," Opera Soft said here on Wednesday.
