Seeing a big demand in the Indian enterprise segment, Oracle has announced that 100 different Oracle applications will be delivered through the cloud.
These solutions include ERP, HR related solutions, sales & marketing, customer experience solutions. The company said that it is witnessing strong momentum for its cloud applications in the Indian market.
In addition to speed, agility, and business efficiency, Oracle's cloud applications can provide organisations with a range of unique social networking-related features, including the ability for employees to collaborate with one another and reach out to customers on public social sites such as Facebook or LinkedIn, to personalize end-userengagements and boost business opportunities.
Talking to Business Line Mr Rex Wang, Vice President of Product Marketing at Oracle said: “A few days back, Oracle CEO Mr Larry Ellison declared that the company is ready to offer "the most comprehensive cloud on the planet Earth” and this is in line with thatthought. With a large installed base in India of our solutions, we see a strong potential in this market."
In India, the company had seen clients from across all sectors deploying its cloud solutions. This includes companies in financial sector like Kotak Securities, Standard Chartered Bank, Reliance Capital; manufacturing companies like Siemens; educational institutions like BIT Mesra and Galgotia University and healthcare companies like Aurobindo Pharma and Nutricare Technologies; online commerce portals like MakeMyTrip.com, Flipkart.com, BookMyShow.com, Travelocity.com and others.
