Consumer electronics major Samsung Electronics launched curved televisions in the Indian market on Wednesday.
The company’s Curved Ultra High Definition (UHD) TVs, which come in 55- and 65-inch variants, are priced at ₹3.29 lakh and ₹4.49 lakh respectively.
The Curved Smart LED TV range starts at ₹1.62 lakh.
The company also launched its Ultra High Definition flat TV range, starting at ₹1.04 lakh. On the growth of the curved TV technology, Samsung India’s Deputy MD, R Zutshi, expects events such as elections, IPL and the upcoming FIFA World Cup were expected to boost sales.
The company also said its 105 Curved UHD TV will be available soon.
