Panasonic India on Thursday launched the P51 smartphone, the first since its entry into the mobile phone segment.
Priced at Rs 26,990, the Android smartphone has a 5-inch screen powered by a Quad Core 1.2GHz processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
”India has always been one of our alpha markets in the region and we are confident that our product will provide Indian consumers a multimedia experience and a value-for-money proposition,” Daizo Ito, President, Panasonic India said.
The company is targeting an 8 per cent market share in the first year in the smartphones market, he said adding the company would launch more smartphones this year.
