Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali Ayurved seems to have broken ties with the developers who were involved with its much-talked-about app Kimbho, which had been launched on a trial basis in May.
In a tweet on Friday, Patanjali spokesperson SK Tijarawala said, “Bolo Messenger is not at all related to #Patanjali and it‘s #KIMBHO app which is under advanced development process now and will be launched by Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna soon and will be placed on #PlayStore and #AppleStore and other platforms for download.”
This statement came after Bolo Messenger App developed by Aditi Kamal was launched on Google Playstore on Friday with claims that it had the blessings of Baba Ramdev. The Bolo messenger app has been created by an organisation called Bolo Bharat Communications whose founder is listed as Kamal.
The same developer was earlier involved with the launch of the Kimbho app in the last week of May, which was eventually withdrawn due to technical glitches.
According to the company’s website, it is a non-profit organisation that is working to bring Indians together on a common Swadeshi platform and its mission is to promote Swadeshi Tech Revolution.
