Persistent acquires RGEN Solutions

Persistent Systems has acquired Akshat Corporation, which conducts business under the name RGEN Solutions, for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition was made through a wholly-owned subsidiary Persistent Systems Inc. The transaction has been closed, the company said in a regulatory filing. Redmond-headquartered RGEN Solutions, which was founded in 2006, offers IT services and solutions.
