IT company Persistent Systems today reported a marginal increase in its consolidated net profit at Rs 71.84 crore during the three-month period ended September 30, 2015.

The company posted a net profit of Rs 71.31 crore in the same period a year ago.

The total income was up by about 17 per cent to Rs 542.73 crore during the September quarter compared to Rs 464.17 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2014-15.

The company also announced to appoint Sunil Sapre as its Chief Financial Officer in place of Rohit Kamat, who would retire on November 30, 2015. Sapre’s appointment is effective from December 1, 2015.

Shares of Persistent Systems closed at Rs 664.1, down by 2.41 per cent, on last trading day on BSE.
