Persistent Systems has reported a net profit of 41.6 crore for the quarter ended June 30, representing a growth of 51 per cent y-o-y.

Revenue in rupee terms stood at Rs 301 crore, a growth of 34 per cent over the same quarter of the previous fiscal. On a q-o-q basis, the growth was 11 per cent.

In dollar terms, revenue in the quarter under review stood $ 54.9 million, translating into a y-o-y increase of 9.8 per cent, and q-o-q growth of 1.3 per cent.

“We continue to see traction in the market. We have been focused on analytics, collaboration, cloud and mobility. We find significant activities around these initiatives,” Dr Anand Deshpande, Chairman and Managing Director, Persistent Systems, said.

Amongst the highlights of this quarter was the appointment of Pradeep Bhargava as Independent Director, announcement of collaboration with TGen on the Bio4D software programme and the partnership with Acme Packet to deliver compliance-based workflow communications.
