Pune-based software product development and technology services company Persistent Systems has opened its first US-based collaborative software product development centre in Dublin, Ohio.
With over 85 per cent of Persistent Systems’ business coming from US clients, the establishment of a domestic collaborative software development centre allows it to strengthen and expand its relationships with regional companies in delivering next generation cloud computing, analytics, mobility and social collaboration solutions.
The Columbus Ohio region’s available technical talent, proximity to leading academic institutions, including The Ohio State University, central location and access to North American market are among the reasons for the location of the new centre. The company will hire 56 positions immediately and plans to scale up to 100 employees at this site.
The Ohio facility is specifically designed to help enterprises create rapid prototypes of next generation applications leveraging analytic technologies and utilising perceptual computing driven innovative user interfaces.
With this new centre, Persistent Systems will be supporting innovative regional businesses, including its client, Cardinal Health.
With the US headquarters in Santa Clara, CA Persistent has additional offices in Charlotte, NC and Seattle, WA. The company is regularly recognised by the industry for its innovative solutions.
