BSE-listed Persistent Systems has reported a 36.1 per cent rise in net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2013. Net profit went up by 36.1 per cent to Rs 60.7 crore while revenues grew by 32.3 per cent to Rs 432.3 crore. “We are delighted with our excellent growth in revenue in the second quarter that has surpassed the overall industry growth rate. We continue to invest in creating next-generation technology solutions for our customers,” said Anand Deshpande, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, Persistent Systems.
