The Nashik-based Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), the University of Pune (UoP), the University of Mumbai (UoM), Dr. B. A. Marathwada University (BAMU), Aurangabad, and software product and technology services company Persistent Systems have announced a national initiative to identify and promote innovations aimed at improving the quality of life in India at the grass root level.
In line with this aim, the group will host from December 11-13 ‘Inclusive Innovations 2013’ a conference aimed at bringing grass root innovations to the masses.
This group will create an ecosystem of support for relevant innovations by mentoring them, as well as finding appropriate angel investors and industry houses. It will also organise conventions, competitions, workshops and boot camps with angel investors.
To be organised under the patronage of Maharashtra Governor K. Shankarnarayanan, Inclusive Innovations 2013 will bring together experts and young innovators/scientists from the healthcare, engineering, environment, agriculture and computer sciences (IT) fields to share their ideas and demonstrate the latest innovations.
