IT firm Polaris FT today said it has provided scholarships to 36,000 children this year under its CSR activity.
These children are granted scholarships ranging from Rs 1,000 to Rs 1,800 depending upon the class in which they study, a statement today said.
Polaris employees volunteer to mentor and educate children from economically backward societies under the Ullas Trust.
Polaris contributes one per cent of its quarterly revenue to Ullas Trust.
