>Polaris Financial Technology has launched a Research, Innovation & Development Centre (RIDC) in Belfast. It will be a dedicated centre for European financial institutions. This launch enables the Chennai-based company, which provides technology to banks and financial institutions, to strengthen its leadership position by establishing a dedicated near-shore RIDC to support ‘transformational’ outsourcing programs for its customers in Europe.
With the involvement of the UK Trade & Investment, the current centre in Belfast is being enhanced to bring RIDC competencies to drive business outcomes to Polaris’ customers in Europe along with the near-shore advantage, says a Polaris press release.
The centre will leverage the intellectual property expertise from Polaris’ FT Research to drive holistic business outcomes in seven dimensions, including customer experience, operations and performance.
The centre will also offer expertise on the cloud in the form of consulting and product offerings through one of its flagship Centres of Excellence, namely the FT Grid, says the release.
