Polaris Consulting & Services has reported a net profit of ₹37 crore on a revenue of ₹468 crore for the March quarter.

For the year ended March 31, the Chennai-based software company reported a net profit of ₹167 crore on a revenue of ₹1,894 crore. The function wise classification of results for 2013-14 is not comparable with the audited consolidated financial results for the year before. This is because the net impact of the results of IdenTrust Inc up to the date of divestment, and profit on divestment of the IdenTrust business were disclosed under ‘other income,’, the company said.

Polaris has recommended a final dividend of ₹15 (300 per cent) per equity share of ₹5 each of the company for 2014-15 to its shareholders. Of this, an interim dividend at ₹5 per equity share (100 per cent) of ₹5 each was declared by the board in its meeting held on March 19. Jitin Goyal, CEO and Executive Director, Polaris Consulting, said the company added 24 new clients during a ‘challenging’ year. “We realigned our oragnisation around a core digital strategy to drive transformation programme for our clients.”
