Enterprise software firm Ramco Systems today announced its foray into the Indonesian market as it inked a partnership with a company in this regard.
Chennai-headquartered Ramco Systems entered into a tie-up with Multipolar Technology, a subsidiary of PT Multipolar Tbk, to deliver the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) solutions offered by Ramco Systems in Indonesia.
“This partnership marks the launch of Ramco’s successful public Cloud ERP in Indonesia”, Ramco Systems said in a statement.
Ramco Systems CEO Virender Aggarwal said this partnership would cement Ramco’s position in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region.
“Having successfully proved the model in home ground, we are now all set to take our cloud offering to global markets,” he said.
Multipolar Technology and Ramco Systems would work towards promoting the benefits of cloud technology and the advantages of moving enterprise applications on the cloud, the statement said.
“Ramco is a leading name in the global ERP market and we are happy to partner with them in bringing the highly successful Ramco ERP on Cloud to the Indonesian market”, said Multipolar Technology, President-Director Harijono Suwarno.
Indonesia is ranked among the World’s top 10 in the number of Internet users, ranked eighth, with nearly 5.5 crore internet users as of March 2012, the statement added.
