Enterprise solutions provider Ramco Systems signed 10 aviation deals during the last financial year, becoming a major global aviation software service provider.
The Chennai-based firm signed 10 aviation deals in 2012-13 fiscal, which included bagging projects from airline service provider Emirates, GoAir, Air Tahiti, Caribbean Airlines among others, the company said in a BSE filing.
“It has been a remarkable year for our aviation business. We recently launched the role-based ‘Aviation workspaces’, which is a revolution in the MRO software industry. This will further build the momentum for our growth, Ramco Systems CEO, Virender Aggarwal, said.
Built for the aviation sector, Ramco Aviation suite manages the entire business of aircraft maintenance, covering engineering support, inventory and procurement, maintenance and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul) contract management, it said.
Ramco Systems currently has over one lakh users across 35 countries, the release added.
Shares of the company were trading at Rs 104 apiece on BSE, down 4.59 per cent over its previous close.
