Reliance Industries-backed venture capital firm, GenNext Innovation Hub, and Microsoft Ventures will launch 11 start-ups this week.
The start-ups, selected from a wide range of applicants in October 2014, have already successfully won businesses with major public and private sector companies in India and overseas such as Fortis, Flipkart, Raymond, Credit Suisse, Dot Cabs and Snapdeal.
The accelerator programme – a joint initiative between GenNext Ventures and Microsoft Ventures – is aimed at catalysing the country’s technology start-up ecosystem. The four-month programme started on October 27, 2014 at the GenNext Innovation Hub, with a mix of 11 start-ups from across sectors such as education, healthcare, transportation, retail, and human resources. The hub is situated at Reliance Corporate Park in Navi Mumbai.
The selected start-ups will show-case their products and services on March 13.
