NetEnrich, a US-based (San Jose) remote IT operations services firm, is planning to double its human resources in 2017 as it targets the European and Japanese markets.

The firm, which has a large team in Hyderabad, presently receives about 5 per cent of its revenues from the EU and Japanese markets.

“At present, North America contributes 95 per cent to our revenues. But we expect the revenue mix to change significantly in the next four years. We are increasing our efforts to tap more business from these markets,” Raju Chekuri, President and Chief Executive Officer, NetEnrich, told BusinessLine . “Contributions from these two geographies should be around 20 per cent each after four years, with North American contributing the remaining 60 per cent,” he said.

NetEnrich works with Cloud service providers such as Microsoft’s Azure, Cloud solution providers, valued-added resellers, hosters and independent software vendors to offer packaged solutions to its clients.

Chekuri puts the addressable market for companies like his at $3.5-4 billion.

“We are going to hire about 500 people in the next few months to support our growth in the two geographies... We are targeting the Indian market, too.”

Majority of the firm’s employees work out of its centres at Hyderabad and Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.

Most of the new hires, too, will be housed at these two centres.

The company offers Cloud, data-centre and cyber-security services to clients, helping them avoid the hassle of building and running the infrastructure for themselves.

Chekuri had seen a growth in remotely operated and supported IT services to mitigate risks.

Before setting up NetEnrich, he had established Velio Communications 18 years ago.

Funded by Sequoia Capital and Redpoint Ventures, the semiconductor company was acquired by LSI Logic and Rambus in 2003.

Prior to that he was Director (Strategic Ventures) at Cadence Design Systems.
