Rolta and SAP have joined hands to combine their business software products and develop solutions in the areas of business analytics and big data.
As part of the partnership, several software platforms from SAP--such as HANA, Sybase and others—would be embedded in Rolta’s solutions, Rolta said in a communication to the bourses.
Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed.
“While Rolta will be able to independently sell a broad range of SAP platform technology with its products at a global level, this strategic partnership will enable customers to take advantage of the combined solutions more readily due to an aggregated pool of sales resources and support to address different technology requirements and business needs,” Rolta said.
The Rolta scrip closed unchanged at Rs 68.35 on the Bombay Stock Exchange today.
