IT solutions provider Rolta today said its subsidiary Rolta International has bagged a $31 million (about Rs 169 crore) deal from Memphis Light Gas and Water (MLGW) for providing consulting and software service.
MLGW is the largest three-service municipal utility in the United States and serves nearly 4,30,000 customers, Rolta India said in a statement.
The contract to provide consulting, systems integration and software services will be executed over the next two years.
MLGW will replace its 22 year-old legacy management support system with a “comprehensive solution comprising a fully integrated enterprise resource planning system that encompasses financial management, work management, materials and asset management, and numerous re-engineered business processes to meet its current business needs”.
“This system will allow MLGW to better serve our customers and greatly upgrade our information technology,” Jerry Collins Jr, President and CEO, MLGW said.
