SAP has today announced a global programme to woo student entrepreneurs. The students can use SAP software freely to develop applications. However, these applications will have to be developed on its HANA platform and its mobile platform that will enable enterprises to use SAP solutions on devices such as smartphones and tablets, the company said here in a statement. The company will offer skills that let students work on SAP HANA. “Additionally, students will be trained in design thinking methodology to help them along the process from an idea through to the finished product,” it said. Once students have set up their business, they can participate in the SAP start-up focus programme and receive free technical support, consulting and marketing services from SAP.
