Satyam revenues in dollar terms may go up by 2.1%

Satyam Computer Services, which is going to announce its results for the first quarter today, might post revenues of $344 million, up 2.1 per cent over the sequential quarter led by volume growth.

Ankita Somani, research analyst-IT and Telecom at Angel Broking, said that the rupee revenues would be higher by 11 per cent at Rs 1,848 crore, up 11 per cent over the previous quarter.

Satyam will announce its results after market hours.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation) margin is expected to expand by 126bp to 18.8 per cent. PAT is expected to come in at Rs 256 crore.

However, some other analysts expect the revenues to be flat in the quarter and profit to be reduced.

On the BSE, the Satyam Computer Services scrip was trading at Rs 83.30, marginally down 0.40 points or 0.48 per cent at 11.28 a.m.
