Typing on your tiny mobile sets gets easier.
Opera Software ASA, the Oslo Stock Exchange listed provider of Internet browsers, released new mobile browser versions — Opera Mini 6.1 and Opera Mobile 11.1 — to show suggestions as one keys in queries in the in-built search field.
“Opera Mini browser uses Opera servers to transcode and compress web pages by up to 90 per cent before they are sent to the device. It always sends your web server traffic securely. Due to Opera Mini’s data compression, it will work on almost any phone and will always be faster than the alternatives,” Mr Dag Olav Norem, Vice-President (Product Management) of Opera Software, said here in a statement.
